Danny Care is an England international scrum-half and a stalwart of Harlequins Rugby Club. Here’s a closer look at his impressive career:

  • Early Life: Born on January 2, 1987, in Leeds, England, Care initially pursued football and was part of Sheffield Wednesday’s youth academy before switching to rugby at age 15. ​
  • Club Career: Care began his professional rugby journey with the Leeds Tykes in 2004, making 13 appearances before transferring to Harlequins in 2006. Since then, he has amassed over 300 appearances for the club, contributing nearly 500 points. ​
  • International Career: He earned his first cap for England in 2008 and has since represented his country in over 80 matches, scoring 74 points. ​
  • Achievements:
    • Club Level: Care has been instrumental in Harlequins’ successes, including winning the Premiership titles in 2012 and 2021, the Amlin Challenge Cup in 2011, and the Anglo-Welsh Cup in 2013. ​
